On January 8, 2024, in terms of “Notice on the Naming and Listing of Innovation Studios of Yan Luhui and other 16 Model Workers” issued by the Lanzhou Federation of Trade Unions, “Meng Qinshu’s Innovation Studio”, the dyeing and finishing factory recommended by the company’s union in 2023, was on the list.

In order to conscientiously implement the Xi Jinping’s socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, labor spirit, and craftsmanship spirit, give full play to the exemplary and guiding role of model workers in advanced technology, encourage employees to innovate and create, and improve their technical skills, Lanzhou Federation of Trade Unions advocated the creation of “Innovation Studio of Model Workers” in 2023, which provides model workers and employees with a platform to innovate and overcome difficulties, as well as a platform to play their roles and display their talents. It also lays the foundation for cultivating more advanced talents and technical experts and creating a workforce with strong learning ability, strong innovation ability and high professional quality.

Through step-by-step recommendation, innovation studios of Meng Qinshu and other 16 model workers which met the establishment standards were named and sponsored after the inspection and comprehensive evaluation of Lanzhou Federation of Trade Unions.

At present, there are 2 model worker innovation studios and 1 Lanzhou craftsman studio. It is hoped that the named model worker innovation studio, under the leadership of the leading model workers, will achieve continuous innovation, solid work, innovative thinking, and inheritance of technology and enhance the independent innovation ability. Besides, a group of knowledge-based and technical talents who are dedicated to their work, skilled in business, good at research and innovation will be cultivated. Greater contributions towards promoting the company’s production and operation transformation and development will be made.
