Lanzhou SPARK Machine Tool Co., Ltd. was established through the restructuring of Lanzhou Machine Tool Factory, founded in 1958, in 2012. Lanzhou Machine Tool Factory is a key enterprise designated by the state for the production of horizontal lathes in the northwest region of China. It was established with assistance from the Qiqihar First Machine Tool Factory and was initially under the jurisdiction of Gansu Machinery Group Corporation, before being transferred to Lanzhou City at the end of 2003. At the end of 2006, it underwent resource integration and asset restructuring with Tianshui Spark Machine Tool Co., Ltd., and is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tianshui Spark Machine Tool Co., Ltd.

The company is located at 888 Anning West Road, Anning District, Lanzhou City, covering an area of approximately 168 acres. It currently employs 338 people, including 45 personnel with intermediate and senior technical titles. With assets totaling 289 million yuan, it possesses 472 sets of various types of mechanical processing equipment, including 54 key pieces of equipment and 27 special processing devices. The company has complete infrastructure and robust processing capabilities. It also has a provincial-level technology research and development center. With a quality credit rating of AA, it is a nationally certified quality system enterprise, a nationally certified third-level safety production enterprise, and a B-level standardized environmental protection enterprise. In 2012, it was recognized as a provincial-level high-tech enterprise, and in 2023, it was recognized as an "Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprise" and a “Specialized, Refined, Special and New” enterprise in Gansu Province.

The company’s main product categories include conventional horizontal lathes, CNC horizontal lathes, and specialized machine tools. Conventional horizontal lathes are divided into D, G, and E series based on bed rail structure and load-bearing capacity. They include CW6163D, CW6263D, CW6180D, CW6280D, CW6180G, CW6280G, CW6163E, CW6180E series of conventional lathes, as well as CQ61100 pipe lathes, with processing lengths ranging from 0.75 to 15 meters. CNC horizontal lathes are classified into flat bed and slant bed categories. Flat bed CNC horizontal lathes include CK6163D, CK6263D, CK6180D, CK6280D, CK6180G, CK6280G, CK6163E, CK6180E CNC horizontal lathes, QK1221 CNC pipe lathes, CZ6163D, CZ6163G, CZ6180D, CZ6180G series of zero-programming lathes. Slant bed CNC lathes include CKL500D, CKL630D, CKL800D, etc. Specialized machine tools include DJK high-precision electrochemical lathes, L-CK6112×10m turning and milling composite machine tools, C6570 spherical lathes, as well as various custom-made specialized machine tools tailored to user specifications. Additionally, the company manufactures CK5112, CK5116 CNC vertical lathes, LZMV80, LZMV105 vertical machining centers, OPTIMAB450, OPTIMAB500 precision CNC machine tools, and more.

The manufacturing technology for machine tools exceeding 8 meters in length has reached a “domestically leading” standard. Our "Lanji" brand CKA6163 series CNC machine tools and CW6163 series conventional lathes are recognized as prestigious products in Gansu Province. They stand at the forefront nationally, enjoying widespread recognition and esteem within the domestic machine tool market. Over the years, they have consistently earned accolades from the Gansu Provincial Quality Association, being awarded titles such as “Enterprise of User Satisfaction" and "Product of User Satisfaction.”

The company places great emphasis on research and development, as well as the adjustment and upgrading of product structures. In 2019, an investment of 1.98 million RMB was made to complete the development of the DJK3225 CNC electrochemical machining tool at the provincial-level key special processing laboratory of Xi'an University of Technology, which was subsequently put into operation. In 2021, a further investment of 780,000 RMB was made to collaborate with the School of Design and Art at Lanzhou University of Technology. This collaboration focused on enhancing the form, color, surface decoration, and human-computer interaction design of the CKA6163A CNC machine tool and CW6163D conventional lathe, making our compan’s products more adaptable to market demands and consequently increasing sales volume.

Benefiting from the technical support provided by the national-level research and development center of Tianshui Spark Machine Tool Co., Ltd., our company has made significant strides in technological advancement. Building upon the foundation of high-speed four-axis linked CNC lathe technology introduced by Spark Machine Tool Co., Ltd. from the French company SOMA, we embarked on a journey of absorption and adaptation. In 2020, we proudly introduced the OPTIMAB450 three-axis linked high-precision CNC lathe, with a total investment of 2.04 million RMB allocated for various research and development activities. By 2022, the prototype had been successfully manufactured, marking a significant achievement.This initiative has not only elevated the technological capabilities of our CNC and precision machine tools but has also facilitated a comprehensive upgrade across our entire CNC machinery lineup. We have continuously intensified our efforts in technological innovation to stay ahead in the dynamic market landscape.In April 2023, we initiated the construction of a warehouse management and collaborative production informatization project, accelerating the pace of our enterprise's digital transformation. Embracing cutting-edge technologies, including CAD intelligent mechanical drawing design systems, CAPP computer-aided process design systems, MTD three-dimensional design systems, and partial integration of PDM product data management systems, underscores our commitment to efficiency and excellence.Backed by superior hardware facilities, encompassing specialized production workshops for machining, heat treatment, assembly, and painting, we are well-equipped to meet and exceed production demands. With an annual production capacity exceeding 1200 units, our sales network spans across the nation, with exports reaching over twenty countries and regions, including the United States, Western Europe, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
