Contracted and constructed by consortium formed by China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CEEC), Green Lake 2x30 MW floating photovoltaic (PV) project in Thailand, achieved the first batch of grid-connected power generation recently, according to State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC).

The NPS Green Lake floating PV project is located in Prachinburi 304 Industrial Park. The project consists of the construction of two 30 MW floating photovoltaic with installed capacity of 60 MW on the DC side, and the construction of a 22 kV booster station to transmit power to the owner's substation through 6 overhead lines.

After completion, the project will become the largest floating photovoltaic project in Thailand at this stage, achieving an annual power generation of 95 million kWh, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 750,000 tonnes per year, and bringing about 200 million baht of economic benefits to the local area.
