On May 26th, a symposium and a business roundtable featuring the China Capital Market 50 Forum (Think Tank)’s Gansu Tour inspection delegation and renowned entrepreneurs from Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces were held in Lanzhou. During the event, a promotion for investment opportunities in key industries in Gansu Province was also conducted. Following preliminary negotiations with key enterprises, 109 industrial cooperation projects were successfully initiated, spanning various sectors including new energy and its equipment manufacturing, digital information, petrochemicals, specialty agricultural products, and food processing.

Ren Zhenhe, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Gansu Province, attended the symposium and witnessed the signing of the industrial cooperation projects. Cheng Xiaobo, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee and Executive Vice Governor, presided over the promotion session, while Zhang Jingang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Governor, delivered a speech. Wei Weiwen, Secretary-General of the Provincial Government, was also in attendance.

Ren Zhenhe noted that General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out that Gansu Province boasts a vast territory and stunning natural scenery, with the Loess Plateau, vast grasslands, endless gobi deserts, and sparkling glaciers,which forms a magnificent landscape akin to a jade scepter. Gansu is a treasure trove of resources, a major industrial base, an important opening-up hub, and an attractive destination for investment. Currently, the province finds itself at a historic juncture where major national strategies overlap and its own development potential is being unleashed. It is in the midst of a development phase where scale expansion, development mode transformation, and structural upgrading proceed in parallel, creating an unprecedented demand for capital, technology, markets, talent, and resources.

Adhering to a combination of “inviting in” and “going out,” we invit entrepreneurs from all walks of life to visit and negotiate business in Gansu. Collaborating with a vast number of enterprises to deeply explore rich resources, jointly plan cooperation, learn from each other's strengths and promote transformation together. Sailing with the wind to jointly expand markets, walking side by side to plan a shared future. During the symposium, Shen Dou, Executive Vice President of Baidu Group; Chen Sheng, Chairman of 21Vianet Group; Li Dahuai, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Xuzhou Mining Group; Wang Jiping, Chairman of Jiangsu Chengmai Technology (Nanjing) Co., Ltd.; Yao Yongjie, Chairman of Zhejiang Hangzhou Tunlan Investment Management Company; Yin Shiji, Deputy General Manager of POWERCHINA Huadong Engineering Co., Ltd.; Cao Debiao, Party Secretary and President of China Tianying Inc.; Luan Guangfu, Rotating President of Chint Group; and Liu Bomin, Chairman of Nanjing Suqing Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Deputy Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Youth League Committee, delivered speeches.

At the promotion session, officials from the Provincial Department of Commerce and the Provincial Business Environment Construction Bureau presented the resources, industrial chain investment promotion, and the business environment. Officials from Lanzhou, Wuwei, Baiyin, and Zhangye introduced the key industries and projects, systematically outlining the local industrial advantages, investment environment, and cooperation aspirations. Cao Debiao and Luan Guangfu, respectively from China Tianying Inc. and Chint Group, also shared their experiences and development in Gansu Province.
