On the afternoon of July 14th, Zhang Yonghong, Member of the Provincial Department of Commerce Party Committee and Deputy Director, and his delegation visited Gansu Logistics Group for a research seminar. The seminar was chaired by Zhang Tieqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Group's Party Committee and General Manager. Also attending the seminar were Liu Guangwu, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of the Group, and Wu Zhiying, Director of the Logistics Industry Division of the Provincial Department of Commerce.

Zhang Tieqiang warmly welcomed Zhang Yonghong and his delegation and expressed gratitude for the Provincial Department of Commerce's long-term care and support for Gansu Logistics Group. He stated that since the establishment of the logistics group, it has maintained a good communication and cooperative relationship with the Provincial Department of Commerce. The Department has provided strong guidance and policy support to the logistics group in areas such as international freight, international trade, and corridor development. As a key provincial enterprise integrating the province’s port and logistics resources, Gansu Logistics Group will continue to focus on agricultural product exports, establishing overseas institutions, bonded processing, and international trade. Zhang expressed hope that the Provincial Department of Commerce would further enhance its guidance and support, so that both the department and the enterprise can work together to promote the high-quality development of the province's international trade and corridor logistics industry.

Zhang Yonghong affirmed and praised the development achievements of Gansu Logistics Group. He provided practical guidance on specific areas such as the integration of logistics and trade services, international freight services for JSQ-type vehicles, grain import business, and comprehensive bonded zone operations. He also explained the principles of relevant policies supported by the Provincial Department of Commerce. Zhang stated that the Department will focus on the broader development framework of the province, intensify policy promotion and research analysis, and support the development of various open platforms across the province, including Gansu Logistics Group, to contribute to the high-quality development and high-level openness of Gansu.

At the symposium, Liu Guangwu introduced the production and operation completion status and international business development of Gansu Logistics Group in the first half of 2024, and gave a detailed introduction to the next step of the key mineral product rail-sea transport business and Central Asian wheat import and processing business.

Representatives from the Group and relevant departments of the Provincial Department of Commerce, as well as other responsible officials, attended the seminar.
