On the afternoon of July 5th, the 30th Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair’s Baiyin City Investment Environment Promotion Conference and Project Signing Event took place in Lanzhou. At the event, Baiyin City signed a total of 88 projects with an investment amounting to 56.722 billion yuan, covering various fields including new energy, new materials, modern agriculture, biomedicine, and environmental protection. Of these, 54 projects were included in the Gansu Provincial Investment Promotion Management System, with a total signing amount of 21.848 billion yuan.

At the promotion conference, the main officials of the Baiyin City government provided a brief introduction to the city’s overall situation and investment environment. More than 30 business associations and over 150 company leaders attended the event. On-site agreements were signed for projects including the Hongse Digital Cultural Industry Park in Huining County, a 400,000-kilowatt wind power project in Jingyuan County, a 500,000-kilowatt photovoltaic project in Jingtai County, the Shuichuan Wetland Cultural Tourism Project in Baiyin District, an independent shared energy storage project in Pingchuan District, and a zirconium tetrachloride and sponge zirconium production line project in Baiyin High-tech Zone.

Yang Jianwu, Secretary of the Baiyin Municipal Committee, stated at the conference that in recent years, Baiyin City has been committed to developing itself into a modern industrial hub, a leading area for modern agriculture along the Yellow River, a model for ecological protection and management of the Yellow River, and an important growth pole for the Lanzhou-Baiyin economic zone, known as the "Three Areas and One Pole." The city is focusing all its efforts on "industrial development," directing all its resources towards "strengthening industries," and pooling all resources to "complete the industrial chain." A number of enterprises, including Zhongrui Aluminum, China Nuclear Titanium Dioxide, and Zhongtian Chemical, have flourished in Baiyin. The city’s high-quality development has made significant progress, creating unlimited business opportunities and providing vast space for investors and entrepreneurs.
