Gansu Provincial Department of Commerce and Provincial Logistics Industry Association Hold Forum to Discuss Accelerating High-Quality Development of Gansu's Trade and Logistics Sector

On August 14th, Yue Jianwu, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Vice President of the Gansu Provincial Chamber of Commerce, and President of the Gansu Provincial Logistics Industry Association, visited the Gansu Provincial Department of Commerce. Huang Ni, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Director of the Department, chaired a meeting where both sides engaged in in-depth discussions and exploration on accelerating the high-quality development of Gansu's trade and logistics sector.

Huang Ni pointed out that the Gansu Provincial Logistics Industry Association is one of the earliest established social organizations in the province, with a well-developed institutional structure, a broad service scope, and abundant resources and professional talent. The association has made significant contributions to the development of trade and logistics in the province, receiving attention and support from various sectors of society. In recent years, the Provincial Department of Commerce has accelerated the development of trade and logistics in the province, achieving positive results in areas such as increasing policy support, optimizing network layout, improving the circulation system, nurturing logistics enterprises, developing new logistics formats, and enhancing international logistics competitiveness. Moving forward, the department will strengthen communication with the Provincial Logistics Industry Association, support the association in conducting industry development research, logistics data collection, and planning standards formulation, and focus on improving party building work to better leverage the association's role.

Yue Jianwu introduced the basic situation of the Provincial Logistics Industry Association, as well as the work done in recent years to support industry development and enhance enterprise capabilities, and outlined future plans. He expressed that the association will fully mobilize various social resources, actively engage with member units and logistics enterprises both within and outside the province, and participate in trade and logistics development activities organized by the Provincial Department of Commerce. The association is committed to building a cooperative and communication platform and will devote itself to providing excellent service, making new contributions to the high-quality development of the province's trade and logistics industry.
