Customs Supports Our Province's "Fruit Aroma" Abroad
To support companies in continuously expanding their exports, Pingliang Customs, under Lanzhou Customs, has proactively provided front-line services. They conducted in-depth field research and explained relevant policies and measures to businesses. They created a business handling manual from the “enterprise perspective,” promoted self-service printing of certificates of origin, and introduced "cloud issuance" of inspection and quarantine certificates, significantly reducing the processing time for qualification approvals. These efforts help businesses fully utilize favorable policies and boost the export of local fruits.
To mitigate the adverse effects of summer high temperatures on fruit exports, Lanzhou Customs has established a "green channel" for the inspection of perishable agricultural products. They have set up a communication mechanism between the local and port customs authorities, promoted services such as "two-step declaration" and "advance declaration," and implemented priority inspections and a "5+2" appointment inspection system. This ensures "reporting, inspection, and certification" are conducted promptly, fully safeguarding the quality of exported fruits and supporting the province's fruit exports abroad.

"After years of market cultivation, international clients have highly recognized the quality of Jingning apples. This year, not only has our foreign trade volume reached a new high, but we have also expanded into high-end markets. Under the guidance of Pingliang Customs, our company's brand has successfully obtained intellectual property customs protection registration," said Wang Zhiwei, the head of Jingning County Hongliufu Fruit Industry Co., Ltd.
"This year, we have exported over 20 varieties of Gansu specialty fruits, including pears, apples, honeydew melons, and citrus, to Central Asian countries such as Kyrgyzstan," said Ma Xiaochun, head of the Pingliang Shengti Foreign Trade Service Platform.
It is reported that in the first half of the year, Gansu Province exported fruit worth 456 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42.7%. Notably, fruits such as Qin'an sweet melons and Tianshui cherries made their debut in the export market.
