China Railway 16th Bureau Railway Transportation Company Visited Gansu Logistics Group
On July 30, Ran Xiaojun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Railway 16th Bureau Group's Railway Transportation Company, visited the Gansu Logistics Group for an inspection and research trip. Zhang Tieqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Group, hosted the exchange meeting, with Liu Guangwu, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager, also participating in the discussion.
At the meeting, Zhang Tieqiang extended a warm welcome to Ran Xiaojun and his delegation. He noted that China Railway 16th Bureau Group's Railway Transportation Company has extensive experience and clear advantages in railway resource operations and railway logistics. He mentioned that Gansu Logistics Group, as a provincial key enterprise established to integrate the province's logistics and port resources, covers various business areas including train operations, multimodal transport, and cold chain logistics. Zhang expressed hope that through today's discussion, they would identify business cooperation opportunities, establish a liaison mechanism, enhance communication and learning, and jointly expand the railway logistics market.
Ran Xiaojun acknowledged the resource advantages of Gansu Logistics Group and its role as a provincial-level open platform. He also provided an overview of the business segments and resource assets of China Railway 16th Bureau Group's Railway Transportation Company. Ran noted that Gansu Logistics Group is a specialized industrial group engaged in the investment, construction, operation, and management of port logistics in Gansu Province. As both Gansu Logistics Group and China Railway 16th Bureau Group's Railway Transportation Company are state-owned enterprises with significant potential for collaboration, he expressed hope that by leveraging their respective advantages, sharing customer resources and logistics facilities, they could work together to promote high-quality development in railway logistics and reduce overall social logistics costs.
At the meeting, Liu Guangwu provided an overview of the formation of Gansu Logistics Group, its regional advantages, and its business operations. He also engaged in discussions regarding joint operations of railway resources, railway logistics services, and the import of Southeast Asian fruits.
The Supply Chain Management Department and the International Business Department of the Group also participated in the exchange meeting.
