On May 16, under the joint guidance of the Gansu Provincial Department of Education and the Department of Commerce, the "Final Sprint for Employment, Setting Sail for Careers" Specialized and Innovative E-Commerce Talent Supply and Demand Job Fair was successfully held at Lanzhou City University. The event aimed to meet employers' talent recruitment needs, broaden graduates' career options, and provide precise and efficient employment services for graduates.
The event was met with an enthusiastic atmosphere as graduates actively engaged in in-depth discussions with corporate representatives on topics such as job requirements, career development, and the implementation of rural revitalization projects.According to statistics, the job fair attracted over 40 e-commerce companies, offering more than 100 job positions with a total demand exceeding 300 hires. Graduates submitted a cumulative total of 168 resumes. The venue featured dedicated service zones for policy guidance and resume optimization, along with innovative additions such as a live-streamed job matching booth and a specialty agricultural products showcase, encouraging graduates to participate in rural revitalization through hands-on practice. This initiative seamlessly integrated an immersive "theory + practice" job-seeking experience with e-commerce’s role in empowering rural revitalization.
The Gansu Provincial Department of Commerce will continue collaborating with education authorities, universities, and e-commerce enterprises to establish a virtuous cycle of "talent cultivation—employment services—industrial development" through initiatives such as school-enterprise partnerships and skills training programs. This effort aims to provide solid talent support for the high-quality development of the province's e-commerce industry.
