On July 28–29, the 2025 National Summer "Village Evening" Demonstration Showcase was successfully held at the Cultural Square of Wangjiabao Village, Dangzhai Town. More than 6,000 local cadres, villagers, and tourists attended the event, enjoying the performances and participating in various cultural activities.

The event centered on the theme of "Cultural Empowerment for Rural Revitalization", highlighting authentic rural charm and traditions. Adopting a "main theme + series activities" format, it featured diverse segments such as cultural performances, intangible heritage experiences, and promotional consumer activities. Through the branded operation of "Village Evening" and the specialized cultivation of "Village Songs", the event facilitated direct access to high-quality cultural resources at the grassroots level, further stimulating innovation and vitality in rural culture.

Rural Cultural Performances: At the cultural square of Wangjiabao Village, local farmers showcased vibrant performances, including dragon and lion dances and Ansai waist drumming. The event also featured special performances by local art troupes, such as Ganzhou folk songs, the Shaojia Bangzi rod puppet show, and Qinqiang opera (a traditional Shaanxi theater style). A dedicated zone was set up to highlight original "village songs," including the piece "Beautiful Ganzhou." Additionally, a live-streaming section was arranged via Gansu Provincial Public Cultural Cloud Platform, broadcasting the event to audiences across the province.

Intangible Cultural Heritage Alive: A showcase of Ganzhou paper-cutting, Hexi precious scrolls, puppet shows, and Ganzhou Bameng martial arts, with inheritors offering live demonstrations. "DIY Heritage Craft Kits" will be provided for hosts and guests to experience millennium-old skills at their fingertips.

Digital Economy Empowerment: Over 20 local cultural and tourism influencers will be invited to promote the event, hosting a live-streamed sales campaign titled "Ganzhou Flavors: Rural Handmade Treasures" to showcase organic farm produce and specialty delicacies. Concurrently, the "Cool Countryside, Perfect Summer" photography exhibition and public benefit volunteer activities will be launched.

The series of events thoroughly explore and vividly showcase the authentic rural traditions, customs, sentiments, and charm of Ganzhou District, offering a comprehensive display of the rich and vibrant local countryside life.
