On August 12th, He Xiaozu, Director of the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Director of the Organizing Committee Office of the Dunhuang Cultural Expo, conducted research and provided guidance on the preparations for the 8th Dunhuang Cultural Expo in Dunhuang City. He inspected key supporting venues for the expo, convened a preparatory work symposium, and outlined key tasks for the near term.

The meeting emphasized the need to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Organizing Committee’s directives for the Cultural Expo, accelerate the work pace, enhance the quality and efficiency of preparations, and ensure all tasks advance smoothly and effectively. Specific requirements are as follows:

Opening Ceremony: Finalize the agenda and event plan, and expedite approval of the pre-show promotional video and pre-opening cultural performance program.

Dunhuang Forum: Refine the event plan, finalize venue schedules, and confirm keynote speakers.

Cultural Exhibitions: Strengthen coordination with stakeholders to clarify exhibition content and partnership details; innovate in exhibition formats and operational models to amplify overall cultural impact.

Artistic Performances: Intensify rehearsals and meticulously refine all performances to ensure high-quality execution.

Media Promotion: Convene a press conference promptly to announce promotional slogans and initiate full-scale publicity efforts.

Guest Reception: Optimize guest delegation lists and reception plans; coordinate with relevant parties to ensure seamless arrangements for dining, transportation, and accommodation.
