Basic Information on the Gansu Province Trade Delegation at the 138th Canton Fair

On October 15, the 138th Canton Fair grandly opened in Guangzhou (the "City of Rams"), with Gansu Province organizing 93 import and export enterprises to participate. This session of the fair is divided into three phases, running concurrently online and offline, and will conclude on November 4.

The Canton Fair, established in the spring of 1957, is held biannually in Guangzhou during the spring and autumn seasons. It stands as China’s longest-running, largest-scale, and most comprehensive international trade event, featuring the broadest range of products, the highest number of global buyers, the most effective transaction outcomes, and the strongest reputation. Renowned as "China’s No.1 Exhibition" and hailed as a "barometer" and "bellwether" of the nation’s foreign trade, the fair has successfully hosted 137 sessions to date. It has established trade partnerships with 229 countries and regions worldwide, generating cumulative export transactions amounting to ( 1.5 trillion and attracting over 12 million overseas buyers (both in-person and online attendees). These achievements have significantly bolstered trade cooperation and fostered friendly ties between China and the global community.

At the current session of the Canton Fair, the Gansu Province Trade Delegation has further optimized its participation structure by organizing 93 import and export enterprises and securing 162 physical exhibition booths, including multiple niche-oriented and innovative "Little Giant" enterprises and brand-leading companies. This comprehensively highlights the vitality of Gansu's foreign trade sector and its strong resolve to expand into global markets, while showcasing the province's innovative breakthroughs in fields such as high-end equipment manufacturing, green agricultural technologies, new energy transportation, and premium agricultural products.
