Gansu International Logistics Group Successfully Conducts First Commercial Vehicle Shipment via Manzhouli Port
Recently, two international railway JSQ special trains, operated by the multimodal transport company of Gansu International Logistics Group, were fully loaded with 465 domestic commercial vehicles. These trains were assembled and dispatched from Guangzhou, successfully exiting through Manzhouli Port and arriving at Russian and European markets. This achievement represents another important breakthrough for Gansu International Logistics Group in the field of international commercial vehicle transportation, following the successful inaugural JSQ special train from Lanzhou to Europe on January 31.
The two special trains in this shipment carried 232 and 233 domestic commercial vehicles respectively, all loaded using JSQ double-decker enclosed wagons, which increased transport efficiency by approximately 50% compared to traditional containers. Leveraging the mature operational system of the China-Europe Railway Express at Manzhouli Port and the efficient clearance advantages of the "Digital Port," the trains achieved rapid customs clearance before proceeding directly to Russian and European markets.
To ensure the smooth dispatch of the special trains during the Spring Festival period, the multimodal transport company of Gansu International Logistics Group collaborated with partners such as China Railway Special Cargo Logistics and customs authorities, as well as multiple relevant stations including the Guangzhou cargo consolidation base and Manzhouli Port. By fully utilizing facilitation measures such as "advanced declaration" and "Customs-Railway Connectivity," the company optimized the entire process—from booking, cargo consolidation, and customs declaration to loading—successfully overcoming challenges like cross-regional coordination and holiday capacity assurance. This ensured the timely dispatch and efficient customs clearance of the special trains.
In recent years, Gansu International Logistics Group has established a mature JSQ international block train operation system at Lanzhou East Railway Station. Leveraging Horgos Port, the group has achieved regular scheduled services toward Central Asia, accumulating over 90 train trips and exporting 24,000 vehicles. It has become the core logistics hub for commercial vehicle exports from Northwest China to Central Asia. The successful activation of the Manzhouli Port route represents a key initiative by the group to deeply integrate into the high-quality co-construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and to build an open pattern centered on westward expansion with coordinated land-sea connectivity. This achievement enabled the extension of shipment origins from Lanzhou to automotive industry clusters in coastal areas like Guangzhou, completed the strategic expansion of exit ports from Horgos to Manzhouli, and marked a comprehensive upgrade in Gansu International Logistics Group’s international multimodal transport service capabilities for commercial vehicles.
