Gansu International Logistics Group Fires “Two Shots” with Spring Festival International Trains
On February 17th, the first day of the Lunar New Year, the Central Asia return train carried by Gansu International Logistics Group Lugang Logistics Company arrived smoothly at Zhongchuan North Station Logistics Park. This is the first special train of imported wheat flour to arrive in Gansu Province during the Spring Festival.
The train, which departed from Zhanatas and entered China through the Horgos Port, carried 62 40-foot high-cube containers with a total cargo weight of approximately 1,700 tons. The arrival of this train not only provides a stable supply of raw materials for regional feed processing and animal husbandry, but also verifies the stability and efficiency of the Central Asian grain and feed import channel through actual cargo, volume, and results. Lugang Logistics Company coordinated efforts with ports, customs, and platform companies, leveraging facilitation measures such as “Customs-Bonded Rail Transport” and “advance declaration” to achieve “zero delay” in train arrivals and departures and “zero waiting time” for inspection and release. These efficiency advantages have driven down comprehensive logistics costs, clearing obstacles and paving the way for the normalized circulation of imported grain and feed. By precisely addressing the domestic supply-demand gap for feed grains, the company has facilitated the stable import of high-quality grain sources from Central Asia and Russia, enriching the integrated grain processing, warehousing, and distribution supply chain.
