Gansu Province Organizes Delegation to Attend the 139th Canton Fair
The 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) was grandly held in Guangzhou from April 15 to May 5. Gansu Province organized its high-quality local import and export enterprises to form a delegation to participate in the fair.
As an important window for China's opening-up, this year's Canton Fair features an improved thematic structure and higher-quality exhibitors, establishing itself as a key platform for global economic and trade cooperation. In line with the fair's three-phase exhibition themes — "Advanced Manufacturing," "Quality Home," and "Better Life" — the Gansu Provincial Trading Delegation, drawing on its traditional advantageous industries while precisely aligning with emerging sectors, organized 75 import and export enterprises and set up 108 offline booths. Their exhibits cover areas such as traditional advantageous industrial products, emerging new energy industries, traditional Chinese medicine health products, and "Gansu Flavor" specialty agricultural products.
During this session of the Canton Fair, the Gansu Provincial Trading Delegation took a series of measures, including extensively engaging with enterprises to gauge their willingness to participate, strictly implementing the booth allocation system, optimizing and enhancing enterprise services, and ensuring the effectiveness of their exhibition activities. These efforts further helped Gansu-based exhibitors seize the opportunities offered by the Canton Fair, comprehensively promoted the integration of Gansu’s specialty industries into global industrial and supply chains, and injected strong momentum into the high-quality development of the province’s foreign trade.
