Gansu Releases Five Premium Travel Routes for Spring and Summer Seasons

On March 20, the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism was invited to attend the one-year anniversary promotion event marking the operation of Terminal 3 of Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport. With the theme of "One Year of Voyage, Soaring Along the New Silk Road", the event focuses on the in-depth integration of aviation and cultural tourism. Through diverse forms including the release of high-quality travel routes, themed artistic performances, and cultural and creative product exhibitions, it vividly showcases the innovative achievements of the coordinated development of Gansu's civil aviation and cultural tourism industries, further polishing the brand image of "Ruyi Gansu".

With the strong support of the air route network, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Gansu Province unveiled five themed premium tourism routes for the spring and summer of 2026. These routes cover five major categories: "Serene Yellow River, Tracing Civilizational Origins," "Ancient Silk Road Pathways, Exploring Hidden Wonders," "Ecology and Folk Culture, Wellness and Experience," "Red Long March, Educational Study of Historical Traces," and "Countryside Encounters in Gansu, Rural Leisure." Focusing on key areas such as Yellow River culture, cultural relics of the Hexi Corridor, the ecological wonders of Gannan, red tourism and study experiences, and rural leisure in the Gansu region, these routes precisely link high-quality cultural and tourism resources across the province. They aim to comprehensively build a "fast access, slow travel" multi-dimensional transportation and tourism network, striving to enhance the convenience, comfort, and experiential quality of tourism in Gansu.

During the event, an exhibition and sales of high-quality Gansu cultural and creative products were also held. Institutions including the Gansu Provincial Museum presented a collective display of Silk Road cultural creations, intangible cultural heritage treasures, and characteristic tourism commodities, fully showcasing Gansu’s profound cultural heritage and achievements in creative transformation.Participants also visited on-site the Ruyi Gansu — Aviation, Tourism, Culture and Commerce Integration Exhibition, the Smart Travel · Ruyi Experience Exhibition, as well as the airport cultural exhibition hall, gaining an immersive experience of the fruitful achievements and future potential of the integrated development of aviation, tourism, culture and commerce in Gansu.
