Gansu International Logistics Group Holds Business Talks with Zhejiang Provincial Seaport Group

To further deepen east?west industrial synergy, strengthen Gansu’s strategic corridor position in the nation’s westward opening?up pattern, and activate new momentum for land?sea coordinated development, Liu Guangwu, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Gansu International Logistics Group, led a delegation to Ningbo, Zhejiang, from May 26 to 27. The delegation attended the 10th Maritime Silk Road Port International Cooperation Forum 2026, conducted research at Zhejiang Seaport Group, and held discussion talks with Teng Yahui, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Seaport Group.

Prior to the meeting, the delegation visited the core port area of Ningbo Zhoushan Port and its intelligent operation center, gaining in-depth insights into the world-class port's advanced practices in intelligent operations, large-scale collection and distribution, and refined management. These learnings provide valuable references for upgrading the Group's smart logistics construction and operational management. During the symposium, both sides introduced their respective development status, industrial layouts, and medium-to-long-term development plans, and conducted pragmatic discussions on core business areas such as rail-sea intermodal corridor construction, regular operation of international trains, two-way cargo aggregation, cross-border supply chain services, smart logistics innovation, and management experience sharing. Consensus was reached on deepening cooperation and promoting coordinated development. Both parties agreed to take this discussion as an opportunity to establish a long-term, effective cooperation mechanism, fully leverage the resource advantages of Gansu's inland ports and Zhejiang's seaports, strive to open an efficient and convenient sea access channel from Gansu to Ningbo Zhoushan Port, reduce regional comprehensive logistics costs, improve the multimodal transport logistics system, and achieve resource sharing, complementary advantages, and mutual benefit.

During the forum, Gansu International Logistics Group leveraged the national port and shipping resource matching platform established by the forum to conduct in-depth discussions with 28 port logistics enterprises across the country, reaching five cooperation consensus points, thus laying a solid foundation for promoting high-quality development of port logistics.

The principal leaders of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone Company and the Multimodal Transport Company, both subsidiaries of the group, together with relevant business personnel from the Supply Chain Management Department, participated in the business negotiations.
