This morning, the "Youth Chapter · Silk Road Glow" online theme event was officially launched in Zhangye.

This event is guided by the Department of Cyber Communication of the Cyberspace Administration of China, specially supported by the China Internet Development Foundation, and hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of Gansu Provincial Party Committee, the Gansu Provincial Department of Education, and the Gansu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League. It is organized by Hexi University, the Cyberspace Administration of Zhangye Municipal Party Committee, and China Gansu Net. The event adopts a model of "offline interviews + online dissemination," comprehensively utilizing AI technology and integrated media approaches. It aims to leverage the Internet's strength in uniting and rallying young people, strengthen online ideological and political work in the new era, inspire young people with mainstream ideological and public opinion to take practical actions and work hard, vividly tell the stories of young people in Gansu who devote themselves to local development and facilitate regional coordinated growth, and promote the spirit of "going to the grassroots and to the places where the motherland needs them most."

The launch ceremony was divided into three chapters—"Youth Chasing Light," "Youth's Answer," and "Youth's Prime"—and vividly told the stories of young people in Gansu who have rooted themselves at the grassroots level, performed acts of bravery, guarded the borders, and served the country through scientific research. These stories were presented through a variety of forms, including scenario poetry recitations, historical stage dramas, sharing of personal achievements, and AI video screenings.

More than 900 people attended the launch ceremony, including journalists and editors from 12 major central news websites such as People's Daily Online, Xinhuanet, and CCTV.com; editors and reporters from provincial and municipal mainstream online media such as China Gansu Net, New Gansu Client, and Benliu News Client; content producers from leading commercial platforms such as Douyin, Kuaishou, and Toutiao; representatives of influential positive?energy online personalities from the province; members of the Cyberspace Affairs Commission of Zhangye Municipal Party Committee and heads of relevant municipal departments; members of the Standing Committees of the county party committees, directors of the publicity departments, and directors of the cyberspace administration offices from all counties and districts; and student representatives from Hexi University and Bailie Vocational College.

Immediately after the launch ceremony, the "Youth Observation Group," composed of journalists and editors from key central news websites, major provincial and municipal online media, leading commercial platforms, and representatives of positive?influence online personalities, will visit front?line settings in areas such as technological innovation, firefighting and rescue, ecological conservation, modern agriculture, rural cultural tourism, and red?heritage preservation. There, they will uncover vivid stories of young people from all walks of life in Gansu who are rooted in grassroots communities and working diligently to revitalize the province through practical contributions.
