Recently, the General Administration of Customs of China released the results of the 2025 national development performance evaluation for comprehensive bonded zones. The Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone ranked 129th among 161 comprehensive bonded zones nationwide, rising 15 places from the previous year, and ranked 32nd among 48 comprehensive bonded zones in the western and northeastern regions, up 4 places from the previous year. It has successfully achieved the "Double-B" target at both the national and regional levels.

Since 2025, under the joint leadership of Gansu International Logistics Group and the Lanzhou New Area Management Committee, and with the support of the Department of Commerce of Gansu Province, Lanzhou Customs, and other units, the Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone Company has anchored its core mission of serving as an important bridgehead for China's westward opening?up, adhering to coordinated efforts in business model innovation and enterprise cultivation. The industrial foundation has been continuously consolidated, focusing on four core sectors: Central Asian grain and oil, non?ferrous metals, cross?border e?commerce, and bonded processing. Throughout the year, it achieved an import?export trade volume of RMB 7.459 billion, a year?on?year increase of 137.8%, independently attracted 22 foreign trade enterprises, and contributed additional import?export volume of over RMB 100 million. Open business models have been iteratively upgraded: leveraging the Digital Silk Road International Trade Innovation Zone, it attracted over 70 enterprises including Alibaba, AliExpress, and JD Logistics to establish operations, cultivated 35 cross?border e?commerce enterprises, realized a cross?border trade value of RMB 130 million, and promoted the export of Gansu agricultural products and specialty ethnic handicrafts to Central Asia. Innovation momentum continued to be unleashed, with the successful implementation of the province's first bonded leasing business, establishing a full?process closed loop for the bonded export leasing of special equipment and filling the gap in the province's business landscape. The business environment has been continuously optimized, as the government?customs?enterprise coordination mechanism drove a significant improvement of 45 places in the national ranking of qualitative assessment indicators.
