Gansu International Logistics Group has actively integrated into the high quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, promoting the integrated development of commerce, trade and logistics through business innovation, and making every effort to expand the scale of its outward oriented businesses while improving quality and efficiency. From January to June 2026, its import and export trade volume grew by 104.2% year on year, and the number of international freight train dispatches increased by 77.5% year on year. It also helped the Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone achieve a 43.8% year on year increase in trade volume from January to May. Various international business indicators have achieved leapfrog growth, injecting strong momentum into the province's efforts to build a new highland for inland opening up.

International freight trains have seen quality improvement and capacity expansion, with the capability of logistics corridors continuously rising. By innovatively building an integrated business ecosystem of "train + industry," "train + trade," and "train + finance," the group has promoted deep synergy between industrial and supply chains, resulting in comprehensive upgrades in operational scale, coverage, and service quality and efficiency of international train services. From January to June, several specialized train services achieved new breakthroughs: the China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan international rail road intermodal train has been steadily increasing in frequency, with significantly improved efficiency along the Central Asian corridor, smoothing the "golden trunk route" for regional economic and trade exchanges; the JSQ scheduled train was successfully dispatched for the first time from the Manzhouli port, opening a new channel for exporting commercial vehicles to Northeast Asia and accelerating the overseas expansion of domestically produced automobiles; Central Asian return trains cumulatively imported 80,000 tonnes of high quality forage grains and completed transshipment and distribution, supporting the construction of a forage grain collection, processing, and distribution center in our province; and the cross border test train for transporting Xinjiang coal outward on the Lanzhou–Laos route was successfully operated, successfully expanding a new route for cross?border transportation of energy bulk commodities.

International trade has achieved breakthroughs in multiple areas, with both the scale and quality of imports and exports improving. The group has continuously refined its bulk commodity supply chain system, steadily expanded imports of specialty foreign products such as grains and oils, mineral products, and non ferrous metals, and consistently grown its export business in precious metals, agricultural products, and daily consumer goods. Efforts have been made to build a diversified development pattern characterized by "agricultural products as a stable foundation, mineral products for breakthroughs, and industrial products for new expansion." In the first half of the year, trade in mineral resources achieved steady growth, bringing the import and export of mineral resources to a new level. The Peruvian silver concentrate business was carried out on a regular basis, ensuring a stable supply of raw materials for the non ferrous metal smelting industry chain in the province and strengthening the supply chain support capacity. Two way trade in agricultural products was improved in both quality and capacity, with active efforts to introduce high quality agricultural products such as flaxseed, wheat flour, and fruits to secure raw material supplies for the province's grain and oil processing industry. At the same time, export channels for "Gansu Flavors" agricultural products were continuously opened up, with Jingning apples entering the South Asian market and dairy products sold to Southeast Asia, steadily broadening the international sales channels for Gansu's specialty agricultural products.

Overseas deployment has been further advanced, and international cooperation space has been effectively expanded. Adhering to the combination of "going global" and "bringing in," the group has actively integrated into the high quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and continuously improved its overseas logistics service network. It accompanied the provincial government delegation on international economic and trade matchmaking activities in Belarus, Georgia, and other countries. It participated in the China?Belarus Regional Cooperation Forum and the China (Gansu) RCEP Special Agricultural Products Trade Cooperation Matchmaking Meeting, and delivered a dedicated promotional presentation. Deepening its engagement in the Central Asian market, it held a meeting with Asel Zhanasova, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Kazakhstan, and held discussions with Kazakhstan Post Joint Stock Company and Belarus' VLATE Group. During a visit to Kazakhstan, it reached multiple consensuses with local governments on industrial synergy and corridor co?construction, and conducted in depth discussions with local enterprises on station construction, trade expansion, logistics optimization, and other areas. It promoted the establishment of overseas logistics bases through asset leasing, equipment exports, and other means, and inaugurated the Almaty overseas service station of the comprehensive overseas service platform. It also appeared at the Heilongjiang China Russia Expo and Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair, comprehensively presenting the group's resource advantages and industrial layout to over 80 Chinese and foreign enterprises. Moreover, it expanded into the South American market and explored the Hong Kong and Macau markets, reaching multiple cooperation intentions.

Gansu International Logistics Group will continue to anchor itself to the goal of international development, steadily open up major international logistics corridors, expand and strengthen international trade, deepen global practical cooperation, and upgrade its platforms for opening up.
