Shan Zhongde, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, led a team to attend the event. During the period, they visited relevant enterprises and institutes in the province to investigate the foundation of intelligent manufacturing, scenario applications, market demand, product upgrades and technical needs, and put forward targeted opinions, suggestions and solutions.

Shan Zhongde pointed out that Gansu should thoroughly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection of Gansu, strengthen its strengths, leverage its advantages, and empower high-quality industrial development with scientific and technological innovation. It is necessary to strengthen strategic planning guidance, strengthen industry-university-research cooperation, accelerate the iterative upgrading of traditional industries, promote the development of advantageous industrial clusters, cultivate and expand emerging industries, plan future industries in a forward-looking manner, and vigorously promote new industrialization.
