Gansu Logistics Group's first return train of cassava starch on the China-Laos Railway arrived smoothly in Tianshui, Gansu
On December 15, 265 tons of imported cassava starch in 10 40-foot containers arrived in Tianshui, Gansu, marking the successful completion of the China-Laos Railway imported cassava starch transportation project, which was fully organized by Gansu Logistics Group's New Land-Sea Corridor Gansu Company. The shipment started from Luang Prabang, Laos, and was transferred from Chongqing Tuanjie Village Station via Mohan Port. It was finally successfully transported to Gansu Tianshui Station, and then delivered to the local customer warehouse in Tianshui by short-distance truck transport.
The dispatch of this train by the Gansu Company of the New Land-Sea Corridor fully utilized the role of the "13+2" comprehensive service platform and strengthened cooperation along the corridor. It is a vivid example of the commitment to corridor construction and cross-regional linkage with China Railway Container Lanzhou Branch, New Land-Sea Corridor Operation Co., Ltd. and New Land-Sea Corridor Operation Laos Co., Ltd., and is a practical experience in exploring new quality productivity of logistics. During the transportation, all parties jointly planned the best route and reasonable transportation method, adopted the full railway method, and only carried out short-distance truck transportation at the arrival station, reducing the transportation time from more than 30 days to 20 days, saving time and logistics costs to the maximum extent.
It is understood that the Gansu company of the New Land-Sea Corridor will continue to explore new quality productivity in logistics, provide customers with better-quality "one order" and "one box to the end" services, help Gansu's advantageous industries participate in the international circulation, and further promote the high-quality development of trade between our province and countries and regions along the "Belt and Road".
