On December 15, 265 tons of imported cassava starch shipped in 10 40 foot containers arrived in Tianshui, Gansu Province, marking the complete success of the China Laos railway transportation project of imported cassava starch organized by Gansu Logistics Group Luhai New Channel Gansu Company. This shipment originated from Luang Prabang, Laos, and was transferred from Tuanjie Village Station in Chongqing through Mohan Port. It finally arrived at Tianshui Station in Gansu Province and was immediately transported to the local customer warehouse in Tianshui by short haul truck.

This train shipment of the Land Sea New Channel by Gansu Company fully utilizes the role of the "13+2" comprehensive service platform, strengthens cooperation along the channel, and is a vivid case of the commitment to channel construction and cross regional linkage with China Railway Container Lanzhou Branch, Land Sea New Channel Operation Co., Ltd., and Land Sea New Channel Operation Laos Co., Ltd. It is a practical experience in exploring new quality and productivity of logistics. During transportation, all parties collaborate to plan the optimal route and reasonable transportation method, using a full railway route and only short haul truck transportation at the arrival station, reducing transportation time from over 30 days to 20 days and maximizing time and logistics cost savings.

It is understood that Gansu Branch of Luhai New Channel will continue to explore the new quality productivity of logistics, provide customers with more high-quality "one order system" and "one box to the end" services, help Gansu's competitive industries to participate in the international cycle, and further promote the high-quality development of trade between our province and countries and regions along the "the Belt and Road".
