Gansu Province's 4th Live E-Commerce Competition Kicks Off
On March 26th, the launch ceremony of the 4th Gansu Province Live E-commerce Competition was held in Lanzhou, aiming to promote Gansu's agricultural specialties beyond the province, sustainably increase farmers' income, and fully leverage live streaming's significant role in e-commerce-including market expansion, consumption stimulation, employment stabilization, livelihood improvement, and enhanced collaboration.
The hosting of the provincial 4th Live E-Commerce Competition serves as both a crucial measure to implement the e-commerce development directives from the Central Committee of CPC, the State Council, and provincial authorities, and a practical necessity to promote "Ganwei" products beyond Gansu and overseas while achieving comprehensive rural revitalization.
The Gansu Provincial Department of Commerce will continue advancing its "One County, One Product, One Ambassador" cultivation initiative. Under this program, each county will develop a local ambassador to promote its signature "Ganwei" product. Through their lenses, these ambassadors will showcase the stories of Longyuan (Gansu's ancient name), and through live streaming, they will convey the value of "Ganwei" specialties. This approach creates a virtuous cycle where "ambassadors boost products, and products stimulate production."
The theme of this competition is "Nature's Finest Ganwei · Going Global via Internet", which adopts a combination of online live streaming competition and offline practical operation. Through the competition, we will deeply explore the Ganwei product promotion and creation team, improve the high-quality online product selection pool, promote the development of the e-commerce industry chain, and steadily promote the standardization, digitization, and branding of high-quality characteristic products in Gansu. We will continue to help farmers increase their income and promote rural revitalization.
