Gansu International Logistics Group's First Heavy Oil Business Order of 2026 Successfully Shipped
Recently, as the marshaled tank cars slowly pulled out of the No. 3 railway siding of Gaolan Logistics Park under Gansu International Logistics Group, the first shipment of approximately 3,000 tonnes of heavy oil officially commenced, marking a new breakthrough for Gaolan Logistics Park in the field of bulk energy logistics receiving and dispatching.
Heavy oil is the residual heavy oil left after extracting gasoline and diesel from crude oil. It is widely used as industrial fuel and can also serve as a raw material for asphalt, among other applications. To ensure the safe and efficient progress of the first shipment, Gaolan Logistics Park made overall arrangements, coordinated multiple departments, and carried out whole-process control over key links such as tank car loading and unloading, metering and inspection, and safety protection. By strictly complying with all regulatory requirements for railway cargo transportation, the park ensured the smooth and orderly execution of the shipment.
Compared with traditional modes of transport, railway transportation offers significant advantages such as large capacity, low cost, high safety, and green, low-carbon features. The implementation of this heavy oil shipment business will not only provide customers with stable and reliable bulk oil transport services but also effectively increase the utilization rate of the company's dedicated railway lines, further diversify its business categories, and drive the company's revenue growth with improved quality and efficiency.
