Lanzhou Sanmao Industrial Co., Ltd. is the only state-owned comprehensive enterprise specializing in woolen spinning in the northwest region, established with the approval of Gansu Provincial State-owned Assets Investment Group Co., Ltd. The company originated from the Lanzhou Third Woolen Textile Factory founded in 1972.

The company holds a prominent position in the national textile industry, boasting a long history of product production and a reputation that extends both domestically and internationally. It is currently the sole comprehensive woolen spinning enterprise in the western region of China, integrating processes such as top dyeing, combing, spinning, weaving, and dyeing and finishing. It was once designated by the State Council as one of the 100 pilot enterprises for the reform of the modern enterprise system nationwide. The company’s flagship product is the “PaiShen” brand of fine-spun woolen fabrics, with an annual production capacity of 6 million meters. Currently, it possesses domestically leading and internationally top-notch modern woolen spinning production lines. The company has introduced more than 300 sets of cutting-edge equipment from Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, and other countries, reaching contemporary world-class standards. It has a strong technological innovation capability, housing one provincial-level industrial design center and one national-level textile inspection and testing center. The company holds 10 textile technology patents and is recognized as one of the units involved in the formulation of the “ Technical Specifications for Evaluation of Green Design Products in Woolen Spinning.” Over the years, the company has adhered to the development vision of “ precision and strength,” continuously advancing technological equipment upgrades. Additionally, the company has produced a large quantity of high-tech functional woolen spinning fabrics, such as those resistant to ultraviolet radiation, radiation, static electricity, waterproofing, oil repellency, dust resistance, nanotechnology tri-proofing, aromatic fabrics, and machine-washable fabrics.
