National Cultural Relics Exit-Entry Review Office in Gansu Officially Inaugurated
On August 26, the inauguration ceremony of the National Cultural Relics Exit-Entry Review Office in Gansu was held at the Gansu Provincial Museum. The establishment of this office marks the official integration of Gansu Province into the national cultural relics exit-entry review and management system, filling the institutional gap in this field within the province. It is expected to have a profound impact on cultural heritage preservation and cultural exchanges in northwest China.
The National Cultural Relics Exit-Entry Review Office in Gansu will leverage the extensive collection resources and professional expertise of the Gansu Provincial Museum to undertake key responsibilities, including exit-entry review of cultural relics, appraisal of relics involved in legal cases, and acquisition authentication for museum collections, covering categories such as metal artifacts, jade and stone artifacts, and ceramics. In the future, the office will enhance collaboration with customs, public security departments, and other authorities to strengthen the safeguarding of cultural relics, providing robust support for Gansu's goal to become a culturally prominent province and fostering international cultural exchanges.
