On September 24, a delegation led by Wang Qing, Representative and Investment Promotion Director of Invest Hong Kong (Beijing Office) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, visited the Gansu Provincial Department of Commerce. Vice Director-General Zou Jun of the Department presided over the meeting. Attendees included officials from relevant divisions of the Department, the head of the Provincial Alcohol Promotion Center, as well as representatives from relevant departments of Jinchuan Group and Baiyin Group.

At the meeting, Zou Jun stated that Gansu and Hong Kong enjoy complementary advantages and broad prospects for collaboration. In recent years, the two regions have strengthened cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, exhibitions, and exchange visits. The Gansu Provincial Department of Commerce will enhance collaboration with Invest Hong Kong by focusing on key industries to foster new growth drivers in foreign trade, helping Gansu enterprises "go global", attracting quality Hong Kong-funded enterprises to invest in Gansu, and enhancing exchanges through key exhibitions and events to continually elevate Gansu-Hong Kong economic and trade cooperation.

Wang Qing stated that Invest Hong Kong would leverage the under-construction Hong Kong Nonferrous Metals Trading Center and Traditional Chinese Medicine Testing Center to facilitate targeted matchmaking between enterprises of both regions. She pledged full support for enhancing two-way investment and expanding overseas business operations, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of Gansu's opening-up.

Jinchuan Group and Baiyin Group shared their experiences in going global to explore international markets.
