On December 19th, the original dance "Tang Dynasty Whirl Dance" by Gansu Provincial Song and Dance Theatre was presented at the excellent dance program performance of the 15th National Dance Showcase held in the Great Hall of the People in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, showcasing the graceful charm of dance art from the prosperous Tang Dynasty along the Silk Road to the audience.

"Inspired by the music and dance introduced from the Western Regions during the Tang Dynasty, 'Tang Dynasty Whirl Dance' vividly recreates the splendid charm of the Whirl Dance from the flourishing Tang era through unique choreography, exquisite costumes, and captivating musical accompaniment. On stage, the dancers move with graceful lightness and spin like the wind, fully showcasing the agility and unrestrained spirit of the Whirl Dance. The outstanding performance not only earned resounding applause but also highlighted the unique charm and profound cultural heritage of Gansu's original ethnic dance."

During the exhibition period, 10 high-quality dance dramas, dance poems, and 51 outstanding dance programs from across the country were presented successively. The entire cast and crew of "Tang Dynasty Whirl Dance" observed the high-level showcase of excellent dance programs from sister provinces and regions, and engaged in skill exchanges and innovative choreography with top dancers from various sister provinces and regions nationwide. This experience has accumulated valuable insights for artistic creation and the continuous enhancement of the troupe's professional capabilities.
