Recently, a refrigerated container carrying 15 tons of premium Gansu Red Fuji apples, transported by the Gansu Company of the New Land-Sea Corridor under Gansu International Logistics Group, completed a 6000-kilometer journey across the ocean and successfully arrived at Malaysia's Port Klang. The apples are now making their way to the tables of Malaysian consumers.

It is reported that this batch of apples from Qingyang, Gansu, was first transported by truck to Qingdao Port, then shipped via cold-chain sea freight directly to Port Klang in Malaysia, finally reaching the local market where they have been well received and highly favored by consumers. To ensure the freshness and quality of the products during transportation, the Gansu Company of the New Land-Sea Corridor innovatively launched a "production area consolidation + cold-chain logistics" direct supply model. This approach achieves seamless connectivity from the farmland to overseas markets, allowing local consumers to enjoy fresh, high-quality apples from Gansu.

As a key participant in the development of the "Northern Hub" of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor, the Gansu Company of the New Land-Sea Corridor under Gansu International Logistics Group has continued to strengthen its efforts this year. It has established a new channel for transporting Gansu’s distinctive agricultural products to other provinces and overseas markets. Through this channel, products such as Gansu apples and onions have been sold to multiple domestic regions, including Tibet and Ningxia, as well as international markets like Malaysia and Thailand. This initiative has preliminarily built a trade and logistics network for agricultural products that “supports domestic circulation and facilitates international connectivity.”

In recent years, Gansu International Logistics Group has continuously expanded its export-oriented economy. Leveraging Lanzhou's strategic position as a key node along the Belt and Road, its advantages as a railway logistics hub for consolidation and distribution, and its platform strength in organizing and dispatching international freight trains from within the province, the Group has progressively built a "four-direction, multi-route" international freight train operation system. This system includes routes to Europe, Central Asia, South Asia, the New Land-Sea Corridor, and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan corridor. The Group has also continued to deepen its presence in international markets such as ASEAN, Central Asia, and South Asia, further tapping into foreign trade potential and strengthening the influence of its logistics channels. By launching dedicated freight trains for Gansu’s distinctive agricultural products, it has established a seamless supply chain from "production areas" to "consumer markets," comprehensively supporting the "Ganwei" brand in going global and reaching the world.
