A promotion program was held here on Wednesday to highlight rich cultural and tourism resources in east China's Anhui Province.
A promotional video clip was aired to showcase Anhui's culture and tourism, while representatives from Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the cities of Hefei and Huangshan presented unique resources across the province and the cities respectively through video clips, generating a frequent outburst of applause from more than 200 participants present.
The program aims to present a real, three-dimensional and comprehensive Anhui in all aspects, and take cultural and tourism cooperation as the forerunner in promoting exchanges and cooperation with Nepal in a wider range of fields, Anhui's Vice Governor Sun Yong said at the event.
Anhui is a major tourist province in China, blessed with unique natural resources and profound cultural heritage, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song noted at the program.
"I strongly believe that cultural and tourism exchanges between China and Nepal can become a model of cooperation, benefiting our people, our economies and our shared future," said Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of the Nepal Tourism Board.
