Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone Focuses on Building Import and Export Distribution Center and Industrial Chain for Precious Metals and Non-ferrous Metals
On September 24, two tractor-trailers loaded with 100 tons of electrolytic copper plates departed from the Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone, marking the initial formation of the import and export distribution center and industrial chain for precious and non-ferrous metals. This center was established by the Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone Company of Gansu International Logistics Group.
Since the beginning of this year, the Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone Company has been serving the broader import and export trade interests of the province by proactively adjusting its business structure. In response to the local demand for copper processing raw materials, the company actively explored high-quality copper sources in Central Asian markets. With the strong support of the Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone Administrative Committee and Jincheng Customs, the first batch of 1,000 tons of goods successfully entered the zone for bonded storage on September 18. On September 19, nearly 2,000 tons of electrolytic copper imported from Africa and Australia were successfully delivered at domestic ports. On September 20, precious metals including silver and gold from key provincial enterprises were exported overseas through bonded logistics within the zone, providing one-stop customs clearance services and facilitating the regular operation of precious metal bonded logistics in the area.
To date, the total import and export trade volume has reached 1.3 billion yuan, laying a solid foundation for enhancing the quality and efficiency of the Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
