On December 24, Gansu International Logistics Group and CRRC Harbin Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will engage in in-depth collaboration in areas such as the disposal of idle and waste resources, the construction of information platforms, circular economy initiatives, and logistics services. Through this cooperation, they aim to achieve resource sharing, mutual benefits, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the circular economy in Gansu Province.

At the meeting, Zhang Tieqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Gansu International Logistics Group, provided a detailed introduction to the establishment process, development advantages, and cooperative vision of Gansu International Logistics Group. He emphasized that CRRC Harbin Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., as a key subsidiary of China CRRC, is the first industrial enterprise in Heilongjiang Province and has developed into a large modern enterprise integrating railway freight car manufacturing and repair, e-commerce platforms, circular economy, steel storage, multimodal transport, station equipment, urban rail maintenance, and grain machinery. Gansu International Logistics Group, a provincial state-owned backbone enterprise formed through the integration of port and logistics resources across the province, has significant advantages in terms of location, resources, industry, and expertise. It undertakes the critical responsibilities of constructing logistics channels and promoting external openness for the entire province. Zhang expressed hope that the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement would seize opportunities, deepen cooperation, and further achieve complementary advantages and mutually beneficial development.

Li Hujian, General Manager of CRRC Harbin Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., introduced the company’s development history, primary business areas, and cooperation directions. He stated that CRRC Harbin Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. has unique preconditions and a solid foundation for collaboration with Gansu International Logistics Group in the areas of idle and waste resource disposal, railway equipment recycling, and logistics services. The company will leverage the “Yi Qi Pai” platform to establish a dedicated network for idle and waste resource disposal for Gansu International Logistics Group and utilize the geographic and professional advantages of the Gaolan Logistics Park to jointly build a railway freight car dismantling and recycling base. Li expressed a desire to use this signing as an opportunity to further deepen communication and cooperation, ensuring seamless exchange and collaborative development in accordance with the provisions outlined in the agreement.
